Thursday, April 13th, was a busy day!

Received my King Architectural Metals delivery - 5,750 rings! - in two metal pallets. Sacha to the rescue. She is a badass forklift operator who also helped me build the Purr Pods in 2019.

On the same day, I got a text letting me know that my cat form was ready for pick up at SoulMind Studios in Emeryville.

I based my estimates on what it took to make Luna (Purr Pods). I kept a ring count and had my invoices from the CAD design, plywood order and the CNC services for comparison.

Nearly $8,000 of materials and services. A little overwhelming for sure.

I should have enough - but not too meowch! - to make 5 cat sculptures with 6.25' H x 9.75' L x 4' W dimensions.

Oh yeah! I did a soft launch of my fundraiser that day too and sent out an email to about 122 people who have helped with the Purr Pods and Stardust in the past. We're off to a good start!

The campaign goes public on Friday, April 21st and I hope you'll spread the word!
