Purrcolate

Purrcolate Concept Sketch

Purrcolate Project Summary

Chill the f*** out while watching cat and kitten bubbles morph and float inside a giant interactive lava lamp.

Purrcolate Physical Description

Purrcolate is a 10 foot tall scaled up lava lamp with cat-shaped bubbly blobs slowly floating up and down.

The base and cap, either wood or steel, are silver to emulate the classic 60s style.

A bench ring around the exterior - with openings for wheelchair accessibility - is provided for participants to meet up, relax and enjoy the view.

During the day, reflective material (TBD) creates the look of the glass exterior of a lava lamp. By night, the lighting and animations emulate the groovy vibe associated with the motion and colors of the fluid/wax inside a lava lamp.
