It has been quite a week!

We made it to 25% of our goal with 56 Catributors!

I also spent almost every day at Big Fun Stuff at The Loom in Oakland finishing up the Purrmaid form.

We covered her with foil and then again in foil tape. In theory, this should protect the foam when I tack weld metal over the Purrmaid form. Then she was covered with drywall plaster for fire protection. I have to admit, she looked ameowzing all shiny and silver!

Had a great meeting with the engineers about wind/lift calculations, final base and anchoring plans and certified welding needs to ensure the Purrmaid will be strong and safe for Burning Man and beyond!

Met with the folks at CASS, which is a really cool metal recycling spot in West Oakland, to repurpose scrap metal parts and pieces for my installation. I'm really excited about creating the kelp alcove and other underwater elements with found treasures.

As purr usual, getting the word out about this campaign is incredibly important to the success of the Purrmaid.

Purrlease share by sending your generous, big cat art loving friends the link to this campaign and let them know that their donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE thanks to my arts based non-profit fiscal sponsor, ArtPush.

Thank mew! >^..^<
